This afternoon sees further heavy and thundery showers. A risk of hail and the showers becoming prolonged in places. The possibility of fewer showers in western areas sheltered from the northwest wind. Continuing to feel cold in the wind. The showers continue through this evening. However, they are going to be slowly easing but they will continue around western, northern and eastern coasts. Clearer spells develop inland with the risk of a touch of ground frost in sheltered areas by the morning.
